It was calm and 0 degrees with heavy clouds on the horizon when the sun rose at 7:29 a.m.
I'm still fascinated by ice-covered rocks
The sun begins to light up the clouds
The sun shone through breaks in the clouds
Look how much the ice has built up over a week (below photo is a week before)
These ice shelves build up when waves wash up on the shore
Glorious!
For this photo, I focused on the snow and ice covered rock, producing a nice bokeh (the quality of the blurred light of the sun) with the sunlight
