Sunrise, October 20

The weather has changed drastically with flurries in the air and freezing temperatures.  It was 28 degrees out and I had to scrape my windshield before I left.  The sun rose at 7:30 a.m.  I drove down to Iona's Beach again, and the color in the sky was a fiery red-orange.

Many interesting rocks on the shores of Lake Superior

Breaking down

Frosted leaves

Mushrooms show a different kind of fall color

These nearly bare branches have a spooky feel to them

On Saturday, Barry and I saw the Edwin H. Gott coming in to Two Harbors

This leaf is hanging on for dear life
