Sunrise, March 3

The sunrise was colorful this morning, a chilly morning at 11 below zero, sea smoke and a thin layer of ice across the lake.  The sun rose at 6:42 a.m., more than 45 minutes earlier than the sun rose in the beginning of February.

Later in the day, Jackson and I had to do some shopping in Duluth.  We stopped at Brighton Beach on the way out of Duluth to see the ice build up along the shore.
