I love the unexpected randomness you can find on the beach, whether it's a piece of driftwood . . .
. . . or a misplaced rock.
By mid-May, the weather was starting to warm up a bit, but there was a lot of rain. Combined with the snow melt, the Beaver River was roaring.

Finally, on Memorial Day weekend we actually had warm weather and enjoyed an evening walk at Tettegouche State Park and checked out my parents' new lake home.
