Grocery Time

I got the kids going this morning so we could go to Super One--it had been three weeks since my last big grocery trip. Since Barry's gone for another month, I took all four kids rather than taking the little two during the week when Jackson and Raina were in school. I'm not quite ready for that yet. Anyway, I saved 41% this week or $175.71 shopping sales and using coupons. Here are the best deals:

Vaseline lotion--$3.89, buy one get one free (store coupon), used 2-$1 coupons=$0.90 each
Bic razors (at Pamida)--$4.99 each, used buy one get one free coupon=$2.50 each

Yakisoba noodles--$1 each, used 4-$0.50 coupons=$0.50 each

Orville Redenbacher microwave popcorn--$0.99 each, used $1/2 coupon=$0.49 each
Planters trail mix--$0.99, used $1 coupon=FREE
Fisher sunflower seeds--$1.29 each, used 2-$1 coupons=$0.29 each
Ortega taco seasoning--$0.75 each, used $0.75/2 coupon=$0.38 each
Old El Paso taco seasoning--used FREE when you buy 2 Old El Paso products (I bought green chiles at $1 each)

Kemps butter--$1.99 each
Kraft American and Swiss cheese slices--2/$3
Kraft chunk cheese--2/$3
Kraft shredded cheese--2/$3, used $1/2 coupon=$1 each

Del Monte ketchup--$0.99-$0.50 coupon=$0.49
CoffeeMate creamer--$2.39 each, used $1.50/2 coupon=$1.64 each
Old El Paso green chiles--$1 each, got FREE taco seasoning
Marzetti hummus--$2.77-$1 coupon=$1.77
Marzetti dip--$2.99-$1 coupon-$1.99
Ken's dressing--$2.49-$2 coupon=$0.49 each
Bush's baked beans--$0.99 each-$0.55 coupons=$0.44
Ortega refried beans--$1.25 each-$0.75/2 coupon=$0.88 each
Polaner All Fruit--$2.59-$1 coupon=$1.59. The Black Cherry flavor is very good, and it's sweetened only with fruit juice and fruit, no added sugar or high fructose corn syrup

Old Orchard juice drinks--$0.99 each. This is not something I normally buy, but we'll drink this with pizza instead of pop
Goldfish--$0.99 each

Post cereal--$2.50 each-$1/2 coupon=$2.00
Hunt's Snack Pack pudding--$1.25 each, used buy 3 get 1 free coupon=$0.94 each

General Mills cereal--$2 each, used $1/3 coupon=$1.67 each
Ritz Crackers--$2.50 each -$1/2 coupon=$2 each
Cheez-It Duoz--$2.49-$0.75 coupon=$1.74
Triscuits and Wheat Thins--$1.97-$1 coupons=$0.97 each

Brownberry bread--$1.99. The regular price on this is $3.69. I like it because it's 100% whole wheat and has no high fructose corn syrup

Chicken--$3.99 each
Farmland pork tenderloin--$4.99-$1 coupon=$3.99
Farmland bacon--$2.22-$1 coupons=$1.22 each

Edy's ice cream--$2.88 each, used $1 coupons=$1.88 each. Did you know there are Girl Scout cookies varieties, like this one made with Samoas? Yum!

I used my last Kangaroo pita bread FREE coupon that the company sent me.
Yoplait yogurt was $0.48, I bought 15 and used $0.40/6 and $0.50 coupons and a FREE when you buy 6 coupon=$0.39 each
And because the kids were not in meltdown mode by the time we were done shopping, we had lunch at McDonalds, where they all got identical penguin toys.
