Surfing on Lake Superior

We took the scenic drive home from Duluth the other day, and stopped to watch the surfers at Stony Point. It was about 10 degrees outside, and the water was probably in the 30's.

I think this guy needed to warm up 

The rocks along the shore are covered in ice 

So are the trees and plants  

And dried leaves
